Anti Dystopia Society

We are a server about discussing socio-political events related to government and corporate, as well as, personal use of technology and means of power; i.e: snowden leaks, mass-surveillance and the recent Australian ban on encryption etc; in an effort to start a conversation towards how we could possibly better the world.

We are looking for people who care about the state of mass surveillance and human freedoms and who share the desire to help stop the world from becoming an Orwellian dystopia. In recent years, activism against such things has been overshadowed by other environmental and Political concerns in this dire time when the decisions that will either make or break the world of tomorrow are being made today, hopefully this server will take a step, however small, towards reinvigorating some of that activism.
