Special Missions details the continued struggle in special forces unit G.I. Joe's international battle against the terrorist organisation known as COBRA. A recent Cobra assault on the Pit has left the base completely inoperable, with Cobra operatives still swarming the area. Cobra, meanwhile, is attempting to make another push for world domination... And it seems that The Coil, the shadowy organisation once led by Serpentor, might be back from the grave. Which side of this planet-spanning conflict are you on?

(Note: This is set in a timeline roughly based on Marvel and IDW's Real American Hero universe, however, it also includes concepts from the Devil's Due universe and the Hasbro Comic Universe)
