Frank Marshall was known for being one of the greatest chess players of his time, he was more known for his great "Gold Coins Game". In this game Frank Marshall made a queen sacrifice so shocking, a queen sacrifice which was attacked by 3 different pieces, leaving an additional rook hanging, and was so strategically smart Levitsky (his opponent) resigned right there. After, the chess board had gold coins being thrown on the table, thus the name of this great game.
