Collaborative message editing for mods and admins

Run /new in the channel you want to send a message, or use the message context menu to edit or copy an existing one.

Free features

• Unlimited plain text messages with Markdown support. Advanced users can link channels, mention roles, and use server emojis; learn how here (link to formatting). Note: pinging users is and won't be supported
• Clone existing messages in only 3 clicks. Hover the mouse over the message, click the ... icon, select Apps, and click on Message From Staff
• Clone to a different channel. Perfect for working on a draft in a private channel, and publishing elsewhere when ready
• Configure permissions using Discord's built-in system. By default, only roles with "manage messages" permissions are allowed to use the commands; more roles can be added in the Integrations tab in your server settings. Restricting roles to certain channels is currently not supported (check out the known issues section)

What's next?

The bot is still under development; it's the result of a week-long hackathon that took twice as long to get production-ready. We're working on two new key features that are missing in similar bots, join our discord server to stay tuned.

Known issues

This list is mostly empty not because there are no issues, but because I don't know about them yet

• Mods can bypass command permissions by sending to a different channel
• Updating old messages might cause the interaction to fail due to undocumented rate limit. If this happens, wait for a while, and edit the message again; the bot will detect it needs updating and will show the button. You cloud also clone it as a new message and delete the old one
• And an unaccountable number of unknown issues.
