Great addition to our server, helps your members "virtually" follow through the most important moments of their favourite football match and comment on them!
Our aim is to bring football for all football fans into Discord!
The Virtual Stadium is a Discord bot, currently in its alpha stage, designed for use by Discord server administrators.
This bot's principal function is to provide real-time data and performance metrics for football teams and players, accessible via specific commands.
At present, it offers the capability to showcase statistics for leagues, players, and matches through the commands /player, /team, /match, and /competition.
Additionally, server administrators can subscribe to live match updates, receiving notifications of on-field events in a designated Discord channel. Each update is sent as a message within the channel, with an associated thread for user discussions. A feature allows users to vote on the predicted outcome of a match before it starts, fostering engagement and community interaction.
Moreover, each notification is crafted to encourage users to react and engage in discussions, enhancing the community experience.
Our short-term development goals for the Virtual Stadium include, but are not limited to:
- Introducing a Quiz feature in the bot, with server-specific customization options for questions.
- Developing a progression system within the bot.
- Improving the precision of information in notifications and incorporating additional event types for matches.
- Providing further essential details about teams, players, and more.
- Creating a user-friendly dashboard.
- And much more...
