Permissions

This bot requires the

Manage Channels permission - for creating a category and 3 text channels for usage (if not granted, GameBuddy will ask for manual channel setting)

Read Messages permission - obviously to be able to listen for commands

Send Messages permission - more obviously to be able to respond to commands

Usage

Once you have invited GameBuddy to your server, it initialises and generates all the neccesary data for the given server. After that, it is your choice what to do! Leave GameBuddy alone sitting in a dark corner, or play with it and your friends! I suggest the second option.

Commands

You have to use prefixes before commands! The prefix is by dafault '?' but it can be changed on the given server.

balance - This command returns your balance.

cb - This command allows you to play a coop game called Cowboy Buddy with your friends.

ct - This command allows you to play a coop game called Crocky's bad tooth with your friends.

dice - This command allows you to play a singleplayer game with GameBuddy in DM.

erase - This command allows you to delete the given server's data(not player data) from my database.

help - This command leads you to this website.

join - This command allows you to join a multiplayer game session on the given server.

leave - This command allows you to leave a multiplayer game session on the given server.

me - This command returns your current statistics.

redeem - This command allows you to withdraw your code you got in email for 100 Gamecoins.

set - This command allows you to change the settings of this bot on the given server.

start - This command allows you to start a multiplayer game session on the given server.

stop - This command allows you to stop a multiplayer game session on the given server.

Gamemodes

This bot provides 3 types of games:

Singleplayer

The singleplayer experience is pretty straight forward:
You start the game with the dice command, and GameBuddy will send you a message in DM.
Then you follow the instructions and that's it!

Coop

Currently GameBuddy has 2 coop games:

Cowboy Buddy

In this game you have to try to hit your friend with your bullet and your friend has to avoid your bullets. Once a round is over you and your friend switch sides!

Crocky's bad tooth

ct

Crocky is an adorable pet if you ask me. He even lets people touch his teeth. But not all of them. The other day he was having dinner when he bit on a rock and hurt one of his teeth!
Play with Crocky, but pay attention not to touch his bad tooth! You don't want him to be angry at you!

Multiplayer

You can start a game session with the start command.
Currently GameBuddy has 2 multiplayer games:

Type the number

start ttn

Type in the number given as quick as possible before anyone else!

Basic arithmetics

start ba

Use your calculator, regardless if inner or outer! Compete with the others and beat them in accuracy as well as speed!

Advanced syntaxes

Here are some fancy, advanced commands for this bot:

balance - send_in_dm: If True it sends balance in DM.

Example: ?balance True

dice - difficulty: If specified the game will use this number to calculate the reward

Example: ?dice 2

dice - show_intro: If False it doesn't send any introduction to the game

Example: ?dice 2 False

erase - delete_channels: If True it deletes all channels used by this bot

Example: ?erase True

erase - instant_erase: If True it initiates erasure without asking

Example: ?erase False True

join - bet: If specified it uses this amount as bet and removes it

Example: ?join 10

me - send_in_dm: If True it sends statistics in DM.

Example: ?me True

start - game: ttn or ba, has to be specified

Example: ?start ttn

start - rounds: If specified the game will have this many rounds

Example: ?start ttn 2

start - max_players: If specified the game will accept this many players
