This bot works alongside my steam group, I compile a list of all the news of the past week that I think are interesting, and also the news the users send to me, the bot gets the link of the article, and sends it to all #clamnews channels.
Before you add the bot, create a #clamnews channel. If you're gonna make it so only the bot can talk in there, make sure you give the bot the permission to speak in there before Sunday rolls around.
After you make the #clamnews channel, all is good! Every Sunday, the bot should send a link to that weeks news into the channel.
There are a few other features the bot has, Such as:
-When you dm the bot with news that you'd like to see in the next article, the news get sent straight to me! I can stop people from dm'ing the bot. So don't abuse it!
-Commands like <invite, <twitter, and <steamgroup, that you can use to: -Get an invite to invite the bot to your server! -Get a link to my Twitter, where news also get posted! -Get a link to the steam group! That's about it, really.
If the bot doesn't send a message on Sunday, make sure you have proper permissions set up!
