One fateful day, a spherical entity of great power arrived above the Earth. It didn't seem hostile. Instead, It helped us advance humanity to levels we thought were impossible thanks to its power...the Light. We named the entity...The Traveler. It's arrival changed humanity forever: Great cities were built on Mars and Venus. Mercury became a garden world. Human lifespan tripled. It was a time of miracles. We stared out at the galaxy and knew that it was our destiny to walk in the light of other stars. But the Traveler had an enemy: The Darkness. The Darkness had hunted the Traveller for eons across the black gulfs of space. Centuries after our Golden Age began, this Darkness found us, and that was the end of everything....but it was also the beginning...the beginning...of the Guardians. Us Guardians were chosen by the Traveller to repel against the Darkness...and help bring forth a new Golden Age. Rise up, Guardians.
