This Discord server is dedicated to discussion about the city of Rochester, NY. If you are a current, former, or future resident of the Greater Rochester Area you'll fit right in.

We do have a few ground rules.
- Etiquette
This is meant to be a fun place, don’t ruin that by being a jerk, nobody likes a hostile server! Consistent general rudeness, targeted attacks, and any types of hate speech will not be tolerated. Do not intentionally provoke people and in general try to be civil. If you see anything that falls into these categories, please let an admin/moderator know!
- Use proper channels
Post messages/images in the channels that they would best fit in.
- Use Modmail to Directly Contact Mods for Subreddit Needs
Do not use this server to contact subreddit mods about questions/concerns about r/Rochester, we are not mods of /r/Rochester, so don't ask.
- No Spam/Advertisements
Do not post the same message across several channels, do not ping users repeatedly in quick succession. Content designed purely for commercial purposes is prohibited.
- No Promotion or Solicitation of Illegal Goods, Services, or Activities
No sharing of pirated materials. No offering or requesting illegal narcotics. No asking for someone to buy you alcohol. If it is considered illegal in the State of New York, don't offer it or ask for it here.
- Use Common Sense
We trust that you’re mature enough not to post something purposely breaking any of these rules, but we also trust that you’re smart enough to know that if you do, there may be consequences. All decisions on punishments for breaking rules are final, do not attempt to find loopholes in the rules or use alternate accounts to circumvent punishment.
The staff of this Discord maintains the right to hand out punishments at their own discretion.
