A US-centric server for Anarchists and left dissidents
This is a space for anarchists, socialists, leftists, and anti-capitalists. We welcome those new to leftism and anti-capitalism if they prove themselves to be here in good faith. We aim to be discussion/hangout/learning focused, with a bit of messing around. We want to build the movement and help each other grow.
WHO WE ARE: Capitalism isn't working. We believe we can build a better system, and that we can do so without authority figures and hierarchy. We want a world in which everyone has what they need and can reach their full individual potential, within the collective, without being exploited. The world can be a network of communities that regulate and sustain themselves rather than a coercive global pyramid of profit and greed. Soon we will have the means to eliminate menial labor through automation - will we distribute this gift evenly or will we cling to a class society? We can build a better world and it starts with an ideological revolution.
