You can play games talking with each other by chatting in the gaming VC, even chat in the general chat (not a VC), share some photos and videos in the channel "photos and videos", listen to music in the music VC, self promote by going to the self promotion category, you can share your YouTube videos with others by going to the "YouTube content" channel, you can participate in different events in the server, you can be a moderator or a manager in the server by applying for it.
