it was the year 2057. economies were collapsing, and canines as pets became a luxury desired by all- domestic or wild. humans grew desperate as the planet deteriorated, and battles broke loose. rumors were tossed around like confetti, one of which was that these canines carried the parasite that was causing people to go mad. true or not, safe havens were built in europe and africa. humans everywhere fled, leaving/sending their trophy pets to north america, which has now been deemed uninhabitable for humans.
it then became the continent of canines, where packs fought tooth and claw for the top.
