Tropical Trackers is a friendly community open to anyone who is willing to learn about weather, or people looking for a good server to hang.
Hey there! As the implies, Tropical Trackers is a server centered around the study of tropical meteorology including hurricanes, typhoons, cyclones, and even longer term oscillations. This server is segmented into multiple channels in order to let users freely communicate with other enthusiasts about current or past storms. Our goal is to help others learn about meteorology, while furthering our own knowledge and forecasting together. For this reason, we have a channel dedicated to learning about meteorology where we answer any questions regardless of their level. While the server is focused on tropical meteorology, it also has other channels including an off-topic chat, and one dedicated to general weather. Furthermore, we have regular questions of the day, a gaming chat, and are willing to take user suggestions into account. Tropical Trackers also has it's own bot (Cyclobot, developed and maintained by TROPICALCYCLONEALERT#9179) that allows users to carry out many tasks that are useful in analysis of the environment, be it past or present.
