Hi There if I can ask for a minute out your time to read a little about my server <3

First off welcome to the social server “The Hangout” means big to this small growing community!! So as you can see we have many different text channels I’ll start off with the basics the general chat is wherever anyone wants to talk but you probably already know that lol

next it’s the music text channel, Are you looking for new music to listen to or even put someone on with new music ? I think the “new-music” text channel would be perfect for you. Self promo is if an artist wants to promote their music that’s where they would post it. Are you ever gonna be in voice chat and wanna vibe to music ? You’re gonna need one of the many bots to do that for you so just post the link to the YouTube or SoundCloud URL in the “DJchat” text channel

On to the many voice chats as you can obviously see lol the “just chattin” category is pretty self explanatory just join and talk to new people, make new friends nobody bites <3 next is the gaming category for you and your friends do join up and play a game !! After we have the quiet zone , which contains 2 voice chats “homework / studying” and “reading” we decided to make those for an escape and to focus and listen to music really useful to ones who study hard and maybe you and your friend can talk about homework together. After that we have the “art” category which allows people to stream what they do like any type of art like drawing , painting , making music etc <3 lastly our afk voice chat is for people who fall asleep in discord and never gets woken up, 5 mins after being idol you get out in there automatically and mutes everyone who joins microphones instantly for quite sleep time 😴

LAST BUT NOT LEAST we have our streaming category we made this it’s own category because every Friday we have a movie night where someone streams movies and we all gather with snacks and drinks and enjoy the movie because we can't go out and watch it together because of covid .. you can find updates on the next movie time showing in the announcements. Every wednesday or Thursday I make a poll and agree on what to watch so it’s fair . <3

In conclusion I hope you like our server , don’t be shy to make new friends, everyone is really friendly and down to chat !! “I personally don’t have irl friends but I’m glad I can talk to new people on discord and make them my friends” - 2steplucky.
