I joined the server, how do I get access to channels?
Under this channel you should see the #arrival channel; please write a short introduction there.
If you can't think of a introduction that is unique to you,
please feel free to use the template below. If possible don't make it a list since those are boring.
- Name (what you want to be called irl name or alias)
- Gender pronouns
- An interest (examples: coding, gaming, reading)
- Statement detailing why/how you are a good fit for the goal of the server
- Introvert, Extrovert, or Ambivert?
I am a developer or I am interested in coding!
Please submit a markdown file in the #arrival channel, in that markdown file fill out both requirements.
- Fill out the previous requirements found in [[I joined the server, how do I get access to channels]]
- Open up a text editor and write a brief introduction. This should be around a paragraph or two (please no essays!)
- Include in the introduction the area you wish to contribute (which channel on this server) [[check #notfications]]
- Developers: Include any relevant links to identify who you are (generally a github profile page)
- Spectators: Include a short paragraph detailing your coding knowledge (past projects or just a simple story will work)
- Paste your introduction into the #arrival channel. You won't be able to see messages or replies in here, but don't worry, we can!
- Wait on the network (do not leave)
Note that verification can take up to a few days as they are gone through manually.
Don't be disheartened! If you don't get a response within a week, please post a second time in the channel,
mentioning you previously posted and have not been verified yet.
