Log4j anti hack software devolpment

The Log4j hack is a recent hack allowing hackers to gain control of people computers. This was seen most in Minecraft where a single chat message of a string of characters gave the hacker control of that computer. Now this has been mostly fixed by Minecraft but in order to be safe you need to have the latest version of Minecraft. And some of the most popular servers still play on 1.8 the most recent being 1.18. And to top it all off since the hack is a fundamental flaw in Java code there have been several combinations off characters that run the hack and likely many more to be developed, I would like to put together a team to:

1. Help build develop protection against this hack being used in older versions of the game
2. Find new combinations and build protection against the new combination
