In the year 4012, humanity took a massive leap forward in both technology and space exploration overtime. With the creation of a ground-breaking warp drive and the discovery of advanced technology, humanity began to spread across the stars, settling on new worlds and exploring unknown corners of the universe.
In their travels, humanity encountered countless species and civilizations, each with their own unique cultures and technologies. They also discovered the existence of strange creatures known as Spirits, or rather now referred to as contractors - creatures with immense magical abilities and a deep connection to the planet they inhabit.
As Earth and the other planets began to settle into a multi-species society, new technologies were developed to allow individuals to make contracts with these Spirits. These contracts granted people immense power and abilities, allowing them to protect themselves and those around them from the many dangers that existed in this new universe.
