Headmaster Usami is here to welcome you all to a new-found trip to Jabberwock island, in celebration to the new group of class 76!
LORE: Under the sponsorship of the school administration and by the Towa Conglomerate, Hope's Peak Academy students embarked on a cruise to a not-so-traditional field trip
Monomi, the trip leader, informs them that everyone's objective is to get comfortable on the island for three weeks. During this time, they're encouraged to make new friends, enjoy fun activities like bonfires or parties, and cultivate strong bonds.
This new tradition was introduced for the first time this year due to the soon arrival of Class 76 (V3) students and the near graduation of Class 77.
Although Monomi attempted to convince the staff of the importance of companionship, the school decided to engage in this expensive trip solely because they aimed to build on more of the school's public impression.
Within this lore setting, there are resemblances to Danganronpa S; the Ultimate Summer camp experience.
