The 5th Combined Arms Battalion is a brand-new ArmA III unit focusing on better performance & larger scale and higher intensity battles and operations with the primary focus around a "Vanilla+" modpack.
With this being said - no, you are not patrolling Stratis with an MX.
Our primary Weapons & Equipment come from two mods - US SOC LITE, and ArmA III Aegis.
If at any time we wish to extend this arsenal, we have the assets to do so upon popular or majority vote. We have a total of 20 mods in our pack, with our largest mod within the pack being no more than 500 MB (SOC LITE).
The 5th intends to create story-driven campaigns that both immerse the play and the unit and give them the feeling of persistent progress. Whether through the World News, After Action Reports, or Military Media.
With our intent comes a brief listing/showing of what we have to offer outside of the realm of ArmA.

- Learning Material at the typing of a command. Forgot your !9liner again?
- Fun Op Fridays. Who knows, it could be a Ground Branch kind of evening or an ODST drop with the 501st. That's right, we know a guy.
- Voluntary Training & Courses. Who doesn't want to be Tim Kennedy? (hi tim)
- Persistent game modes such as Liberation during operational downtime.
Perhaps you're already in a unit and passing by, and before you take off with my fancy pens, hear me out.
I believe this to be an opportunity for anybody to test their skills in either a lacking field within ArmA or a new one entirely. As the 5th is opening its doors, positions such as Zeus, Mission Making, and Leadership will become available to those who evidenced interest and dedicated to the position. If you feel you are interested, come on in!
The ArmA Server & TeamSpeak are already underway, & will be available in two weeks' time. (Starting from 9/15/2023)
