Ravencroft Academy has a rich and mysterious history that dates back to 1920. Initially, it operated as a small coven school, discreetly masquerading as a boarding school for troubled teenagers. The academy's true purpose was known only to a select few, and it remained hidden from the world for decades. During a period after that the school was purchased by a secret society named "The Scarlett Society." However, everything changed in the 21st century when Hesteus Drakan, the first Hybrid brought back to life by Agatha Blair's magic, revealed the existence of supernatural beings to the world. This revelation thrust Ravencroft Academy into the spotlight, and its true nature became widely known. The school transformed from a hidden coven into a safe haven for supernaturals seeking guidance and education in a world now aware of their existence.

Despite the academy's newfound fame among supernaturals, to the rest of the world, Ravencroft remains a boarding school for troubled teens. Some residents of Morningdale, either informed by their parents or influenced by rumors, believe that the students of Ravencroft Academy are monsters. This fuels tensions and mistrust between the students, who are supernaturals, and the normie residents of Morningdale. The "Scarlett Society" still owns and runs the school, though very few students are aware of this fact.
