A cool server
The moment it hit me was during peak chaos in my largest Discord community. It was a Friday night, and the notification count for one server alone had crested a glorious, headache-inducing 999+. There was a bot spamming giveaways, three different voice channels arguing about the best Star Wars movie, and the main chat scrolled so fast you could track the conversation only if you gave up blinking.
I slammed my laptop shut (metaphorically, of course; I just hit mute) and realized the cold, hard truth: I loved Discord, but I hated the noise. I didn’t want a community; I wanted a couch. A digital couch where my brain could deflate and just... chill.
