Answer to First Question: Boredom Answer to Second Question: So folks can freely choose to learn, read, and/or write/communicate in any language they feel like writing and/or talking. It's still growing and changing over time. Channels/threads can be added via request(s).
While it is primarily a Sonic the Hedgehog themed server, if there's a demand, channels can be created to talk about other topics. Primary focus is still to encourage an environment to speak other languages aside from English.
