Development is centered on the GEM Engine, a proprietary technology created specifically for complex tactical gameplay. The engine has also been licensed to other teams and used in Saboteur trilogy, Men of War franchise titles, Majesty 2, Battle of Empires: 1914–1918, Call to Arms, and Call to Arms: Gates of Hell.
