An Introduction

Say hello to MeDaBot! A discord bot created by InventBoss to entertain himself.

This bot is a general purpose/meme related bot created for a laugh and some useful features! THe bot has many commands to let you explore for a while!

Now before I tell you some modern day things, let's look into the history of this project.

It all started with a single python file, now most of you know how absolutely awful this is as a discord bot. I expanded to a multi-file project which made the project much cleaner and easier to work in. Problem is that python was not designed for speed, and the bot got really slow after a while. So I switched to node.js and MY GOD IT'S SO FAST why have I never used this in the first place?! And I use it to this day...

A Few Warnings

Now if you're looking for a discord bot for your christian minecraft server discord. This bot is not for you.

Now this bot isn't a 18+ discord bot. The problem is that I have a very small filter on these commands.

A few commands to be weary of are: - All of the reddit commands - The >getanimegirl command - Most of the search commands - And a few more

I am planning on adding a basic text filter to the text based ones, but image based commands have free reign.
