The most advanced Discord moderation bot ever, with automod, logging, automated punishments, and auto kick/ban.
Welcome to Auto Moderator Generation X(aka AMGX)! AMGX is a fully customizable moderation Discord bot that comes with automod, logging, automated punishments, and auto kick/ban.
The default command prefix is /
, because AMGX uses slash commands.
The full list of commands can be seen here.
Automod
AMGX moderates 17 different types of bad behavior: - spamming messages, emojis, mentions, attachments, stickers, and links - overusing capital letters and line breaks - repeating the same message, or repeating the same set of characters in single message - selfbotting - invite links - blacklisted links, words, nicknames, usernames, and custom statuses
The dashboard lets you add multiple punishments to any offence.
AMGX can catch users who try to avoid punishment by purposefully misspelling a blacklisted word.
It is one of the only Discord bots that moderates profile-related content.
AMGX lets you create different categories when it comes to blacklist-related settings(e.g., different categories of bad words). This lets it automatically hand out different punishments for bad words of different severity levels. For example, you can NSFW-related words to mute the user for 3 days, and you can set slurs to ban the user permanently.
In the dashboard, there is also setting for each category that when checked, makes any word you add check for substrings(i.e. users who enter the word as part of another word will still be punished. For example, if the word “hell” is blacklisted with substring checks, “hello” and “shell” will be punished, but when it is blacklisted without substring checks, they will not be punished.
The warning system of AMGX is also very different from those of traditional moderation bots. Instead of using a strike system, it uses a "warning points" system. This lets offences that you consider more serious than other offences be punished more severely, making the warning more precise than giving the user strikes. For example, you can set message spam to give 3 warning points while setting mention spam to give 5 warning points.
AMGX's precision when it comes to automod means it that it can take a while to manually set the settings on the web dashboard. This is why it comes with default automod settings so that you do not have to spend hours configuring it.
You can set channel whitelists(i.e. channels that are exempt from a type of automod) for any message-related automod besides selfbotting, and you can set role whitelists(i.e. roles that are exempt from a type of automod) for any automod setting.
The "warning points" automod feature brings us to the next main feature of AMGX:
Automated Punishments
AMGX lets you set automated punishments for users who reach a certain number of warn points. This lets AMGX automatically punish repeat offenders, so you don’t have to do it manually. For example, you can set AMGX to automatically kick someone once they reach 30 warn points.
You can set the bot to automatically mute/kick/temporarily ban/ban someone for reaching a certain amount of warn points.
The biggest reason why "warn points" exists is so that serious offences need to be committed less times than minor offences in order to trigger the automated punishments.
Logging
AMGX's logging feature is one of the best logging systems in existence. It logs events from five separate categories: - message events(message edited, deleted, purged) - member events(changes to roles, nicknames, joining and leaving) - moderation events(mutes, warns, unmutes, kicks, temporary bans, bans, unbans, warn points removed) - server events(changes to server roles, emojis, channels, invites, adding and removing bots, changes to the server itself) - voice channel events(members joining and leaving voice channels, members switching voice channels)
AMGX also does its best to log the person who took an action, a feature that no other bots have. This can be used to easily find power abusers.
For some events, such as message deletion, it is impossible to accurately determine the person taking the action.

Auto Kick/Ban
AMGX lets you set rules to make the bot automatically kick/ban certain users when they join your server, so that you don't have to manually ban these users. There are five types of rules you can set: - invites in profile(kicks/bans users with invite link(s) in their username or custom status) - account age(kicks/bans users whose account age is below a certain threshold(24h by default when setting such a rule)) - blacklisted username(kicks/bans users with certain words in their username) - blacklisted status(kicks/bans users with certain words in their custom status)
Just like with category-based blacklists, AMGX lets you set certain words to check for substrings and the rest to not check for substrings. AMGX is one of the only Discord bots with the auto kick upon join function and the ability to auto kick/ban based on custom statuses .
AMGX requires the following permissions, besides the default Discord permissions, to work:
