[Wolves of Myths]

[Wolves of Myths]

fantasy wolf themed, powers allowed

Dusk was thinking about Dawn again. Dawn was an affectionate nurturer with a bright glowing pelt, and a flow like grace to her stride.

Dusk walked over to the tree and reflected on his peaceful surroundings. He had always loved how radiant the glowing pond was at twilight, with its prestine, clear crystal pond and weeping willow tree. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel guilty. Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the glowing figure of the great stag .

Dusk gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was aware of the stags reason of being there. The stag knew of the two’s love and desire to be together, but explain great troubles ahead if the two had decided to abandon the skies. But not even a bullheaded wolf, who had once helped the brittle fawn, recover from fear was prepared for what the great stag had demanded today.

“You will remain separate, only to ever but briefly gaze upon eachother in twilight, that is the way it must be or bring many dark and terrible things not..” the stag sauntered away briskly just before Dawn arrived.

The misty rain teased, when in came prancing, the great stag, making Dusk flatten his ears. Dusk carried a warm piece of the moon that had been traded to him from Dawn, a piece of her; he nosed it with his muzzle. As Dusk stepped out by the ponds edge and Dawn paws closer, he could see the worried same glint in her eye.

Dawn gazed with the affection of 852 fierce forest dwellers. She said, in hushed tones, "I love you and I want love." Dusk looked back, even more saddened and still pawing the warm piece of the moon. "Dawn, i wish i could see you shine," he replied.

They looked at each other with cheerful feelings, soon all the wolves chattering, at a very beautiful sight, the changing of lights, which had flute like whistles and bell like tunes in the background and two gods nuzzled into the others fur. Dusk studied Dawn's smaller paws and thin muzzle. Eventually, he took a deep breath. "I'm sorry," began Dusk in apologetic tones, "but I just don't feel theres a way, and never will. I just don't Dawn."

Dawn looked nervous, her emotions raw like a petite, precious piece of stone. Dusk could actually hear Dawn's emotions shatter into 9456 pieces. Then the affectionate nurturer hurried away into the distance, knowing he was right. The two could never be with eachother for one was the day watcher, spending eternity in sunlight, while the other the star bringer, spending their life awake under the moon. And so Dusk watched her set off in the horizon as he took his place in the sky.
